SEASONS AT THE WHITE CHURCH - THE SANCTUARY  









GENERAL INFORMATION FOR On Premise/Catered Events


Appointments: The White Church Sanctuary, our Private Dining Room, can be viewed between the hours of 11AM until 3PM, Tuesday thru Saturday. We request that you call before you visit, in case an event is taking place that would prohibit the public from entering. If you require detailed information, please call to make an appointment. We prefer to consult with you on an individual basis to create an event that is special and unique to you for your event held on our property or off-premise. Menus and pricing will be customized, by appointment, to suit the client’s tastes and pricing. Please consider and determine the following: minimum and maximum number of guests, budget, beginning and ending times, and the type of service you are interested in prior to your appointment.

Reception Room Fees: The room rental fee for the sanctuary is $ 200.00 for days or nights Sunday through Friday, and $350.00 for Saturday days and evenings. The sanctuary can accommodate up to 100 persons seated, or 200 for a stand-up event. Room Fees include rental/use of tables, chairs, white linens, glassware, silverware, plateware, votive candles, sound system, and the set up and set down of these items. A Public Address (P/A) System can be made available with advance notice. We also have beautiful lanterns that you may use to line the walkway if you so choose. Parking is available behind the White Church, across the street at Unity Baptist Church, and at Magnolia’s Office Complex off of Main Street (leased). Photography, custom linens, floral arrangements, limo service, ice carvings, custom printed items, cakes, special rental equipment, and wedding coordinating services are just a few of the many services we can arrange. Please ask for details. Special arrangement is possible for rental of the entire property, restaurant and sanctuary, often utilized for groups larger than 200.

Weddings: Our primary focus is receptions. Under special circumstances, we may allow a wedding to be held on the property in addition to a reception provided its size and set up can be accommodated. In certain instances we suggest that the entire property be used, and will price the rental according to several factors, including rehearsal, time requirements, number of guests, and menu. If interested, this information can be made available by appointment.

Restaurant: The restaurant can accommodate private groups of 40 and fewer in one of three dining rooms. Luncheon groups are charged a fee of $ 20.00; at dinner there are no room charges. Special menus can be arranged.

Contract: A contract must be signed for any menu, bar, or wine proposal to be binding, accompanied by the required down payment. A copy is signed and kept on file for our records, and one is given to the client. In addition, any menu proposal, wine proposal, or other special arrangements are to be attached to the contract and signed by both parties. Upon request, we will be happy to provide a sample copy of our contract.

Menu: All catering on the premises will be provided by the White Church. Cakes for special events may be brought in with express written permission. As previously stated, we prefer to create a special menu for each event to suit the tastes and needs of each client. Our experience ranges from a simple but elegant hors d’oeuvre buffet to a ten course dinner paired with wine to a wine auction dinner in the Napa Valley for 2,000 guests! Once you decide whether you wish a seated affair, a buffet, or a cocktail hors d’oeuvre reception, next, determine a price per person, or for the event, that you would like to spend, and we will prepare several menus in the style and range you’ve described. Please consider dining with us for dinner to sample our quality and level of cuisine. We are happy to provide references from our many satisfied customers.

Bar Services: A full bar is available under the catering liquor license of Extreme Events. Seasons has a license to serve wine on the premises and prefers to sell wine for catered events. Wine from outside sources will be brought in only with express written permission, and is subject to a corkage fee to be based on the number of bottles brought, the size, and the service required. Beer may be brought in with express written permission, with service details and charges customized to suit the situation.

Payment: For events totaling $ 750.00 or greater, we require a down payment of $ 500.00 to accompany a signed contract to reserve the space. For smaller events, a deposit of $ 250.00 and the signed contract are required. We accept cash or check only for payments on catered events or those to be held in the sanctuary.
